If you purchase an item on-line or in store at Derwent Air Rifles & Accessories and it is not what you expected, then we will happily take most products back (within 7 days from date of receipt) as long as it is in unused, as new condition and in its original and undamaged packaging. (this should include any free/ promotional add ins that came with the purchase). Rejected or unwanted products purchased that have exceeded the 7 day limit will not be accepted for return.
For some items, such as safety glasses, face masks, PPE and made to order Derwent Air Rifles and Accessories merchandise or anything specified otherwise, will are unable to take the products back. If you have any queries then please contact us to ask for further details prior to purchasing.
Derwent Air Rifles and Accessories will not accept any returned goods should the returns procedure not be followed. By purchasing from us you agree to these terms.
All products leave Derwent Air Rifles and Accessories fully checked and in perfect condition. The customer must notify the courier (or postal members of staff) of any slight damage (holes, signs of crushing, rips, open packages, signs of tampering etc) to their parcel prior to opening the parcel and you have the right to refuse the parcel if necessary. Please also feel free to take photographic evidence of the damaged packaging or product for proof upon delivery. A new identical product will then be sent to the customer at no additional charge upon us receiving the product back in store for inspection. A complaint will then be raised with the courier company by Derwent Air Rifles and Accessories.
No exchanges can be made at a later time for goods claiming to be damaged during carriage following the opening of the package without notification at time of reception.
Returns Postage Charges
Customers must contact Derwent Air Rifles and Accessories by either phone or email to inform us of any return and reason for the return of any web purchased items. Derwent Air Rifles and Accessories accepts no responsibility for return postage costs for rejected/ unwanted items unless they are faulty in which case Derwent Air Rifles and Accessories will cover the normal costs of returning the goods via signed for post or courier but will not cover the costs of express, next day, Saturday or special delivery or any form of expedited delivery.
The customer is responsible for returning goods within 7 days of receiving the item if the item is rejected/ unwanted and the costs are the responsibility of the customer. We recommend posting any items back to us with proof of postage; this is for your own peace of mind. Derwent Air Rifles and Accessories accept no responsibility for lost returned packages and cannot refund for items that do not arrive in store when returned.
Faulty Goods Warranty
In cases where faulty or damaged goods are rejected within 7 days of receipt, you as a customer are entitled to a replacement, alternate goods to the same value or a refund. The faulty of damaged product must be sent to Derwent Air Rifles and Accessories where they will be fully inspected before a replacement or refund can be processed. All refunds will be issued within 5 working days of the item being returned to us. (this does not include your own banks processing time).
All goods come with the manufacturers 1 year warranty (unless otherwise specified). If after 7 days of receipt an item should become faulty, Derwent Air Rifles and Accessories reserve the right to firstly have a manufacturers assessment carried out on the item. The manufacturer may then wish to repair or credit the item if a like for like item is not available. This can take up to 30 working days. Any goods that have been modified, tampered with or damaged by the owner or unauthorised repair centre that as lead to the fault will immediately void the warranty of the items. This may lead to the manufacture refusing to carry out the work or charging in full for it. Replacement of faulty products or the issuing of credit notes after the 7 day period will not be made unless approved by the manufacturer. Faults outside of the manufacturers warranty period will be chargeable in full and this will include any postage costs for transporting the item to and from the manufacturer. Derwent Air Rifles and Accessories reserve the right to either replace the faulty item or issue a credit note to be spent with us for the full amount after the 7 day period
Derwent Air Rifles and Accessories are not the manufacturers of any goods on the Derwent Air Rifles website or in-store. Derwent Air Rifles and Accessories shall not be held liable for defective goods. In the case of damage to a person or property as a result of a defective product only the manufacturer shall be held liable and sought after by the customer. This information is provided on the packaging and product manuals of the relevant products.
